Sam Fisher has been in the entertainment industry for over 25 years, is an ETCP Rigger - Theatre, and is SPRAT certified. In 2009, he co-founded D2 Flying Effects, an internationally recognized provider of performer flying services and equipment. He established Amberient, a full-service design/build entertainment systems provider the next year. He also owns PointWright Entertainment Rigging Specialists, a national provider and quality installer of high-quality entertainment and specialty rigging systems and equipment. In 2014, he acquired sole ownership of D2, bringing it under the wing of PointWright, which launched its line of safety harnesses in 2015. In 2021, PointWright/D2 relocated and added CNC machining, metal bending, and rolling capabilities, a larger paint floor, and additional trucking capacity. Sam is the proud father of 4 wonderful children aged 3 to 21. In his remaining spare time, he enjoys biking, skiing, and, of course, motorcycling.
